Yoli's Top 10: School Goals
Author: Yoli - Section: Features - Rating: G
These are my goals I set for the school year; maybe they will inspire you to set your own, whether they be for school, work, life, or other things.

1) Do My Best
I usually procrastinate a lot, but somehow I manage to pull things off pretty well. I am setting my goals to do my best and go for straight A's, or close to it, again.

2) Be Involved
Last year I helped with the homecoming float and that was pretty much all I was involved in. This year I want to join yearbook and again assist with homecoming. I may join French club if we have one... also, maybe join graphic arts club.

3) Successfully Manage the Zine
Reopening the zine in the summer was great, but even then I got a little lazy and didn't do as much as I hoped to for the Last Splash! Anyway, I hope that, even with school, I will be able to manage the zine and keep things up-to-date. I am sure, with my wonderful staff, this will be more possible.

4) Watch All New Episodes of The Big Bang Theory
I have been watching it since the first episode last year on CBS, and it has become one of my favorite shows on television. I am thrilled for the return of Sheldon, Leonard, Penny, and their other friends in the second season and hope to catch every episode on Monday nights.

5) Lessen My Procrastination
I am not sure if this goal is that realistic, but it's worth trying it. If I get things done right away, I will have more time to do other things, like manage the zine.

6) Host a "Murder Mystery" Party
I also had this in my summer top 10, but it seems a little more appropriate around Halloween time. Maybe I can wrangle up a few friends who will be interested in a Clue-themed party - so fun!

7) Be More Outspoken
Shyness is something I was just born with, but it's always better to be more outgoing and friendlier, especially as I get older. This will also help with speeches and such for schoolwork.

8) Make New Friends
With new classes and different schedules, I probably will not be seeing as much of my friends from last year. This being, I will have to do my best to find new ones in my classes.

9) See HSM 3 in Theaters
Even though High School Musical 3 is not going to be premiering on Disney Channel, I still plan on seeing it sometime close to when it opens. Between school and other activities, I hope I can manage this... maybe my mom will want to see it even though she hasn't seen the other two.

10) Write a Story/TV Series/Movie
This was also in my summer top 10, but it's becoming more of a long-term goal for me. I am still experimenting with different story concepts and the zine helps me with that as well.
